| Revive at Work, could massage be the answer to call centre stress |
A south Wales company is leading the way in reducing stress in the call centre and boosting staff morale by providing bespoke on-site massage treatments. The most popular treatments on offer are upper body chair massage and Indian head massage that are specifically suited to relieve tension in the head, neck and shoulders.
These treatments do not involve oils and can be performed either at an employee's desk or in a private room. A wide range of holistic therapies including Aromatherapy, Swedish massage and Reflexology are also on offer and full ‘pamper days’ can be organised for your employees or company event. Companies can choose to fund the cost of the treatments on behalf of their staff or, as in many cases, staff use their social funds as they are more than happy to pay for the services themselves. Either way, the benefits are clear to see.
“Revive-at-Work has provided us with a fantastic service since their introduction to the call centre back in 2004. We wanted to give the staff something in return for their hard work and enthusiasm, and free Indian head massages were perfect for a Monday morning pick-up, said Paul Hill, Sales Excellence Manager at HBOS. Revive at Work does just what it says on the packet! Everyone looks forward to their head massages at their desks, it leaves you feeling refreshed and lifts your spirits whatever kind of day you're having.
A very professional service is provided at a very good price, and colleagues, male and female, all take full advantage and enjoy the benefits it brings. Companies already taking advantage of Revive-at-Work include: HBOS plc ING Direct Halifax plc Vale of Glamorgan Council First Plus Llanarth Court Hospital Venn Tailoring Founder of Revive, Denise Bailey said: “Organisations all over the world have recognised that a massage programme is effective in combating the mental and physical effects of stress in the workplace."
